Bacon Cheeseburgers

My own recipe of how to make delicious and succulent bacon cheese burgers.


Ingredients:

Burgers (4 servings):

  • 500g beef mince 5% fat

  • 1 onion diced 🧅

  • 1 tbsp frozen chopped parsley (optional)

  • 2 tsp mustard (optional)

  • 2 tsp garlic granules (optional) 🧄

  • salt

  • pepper

Toppings:

  • 8 unsmoked bacon rashers (2 per burger) 🥓

  • 4 cheddar cheese slices (1 per burger) 🧀

  • 4 ciabatta rolls (1 per burger)

  • burger sauce

  • ketchup

Method:

  1. Combine the onion and beef mince together in a bowl.

  2. Add frozen parsley, mustard, garlic granules, salt and pepper and mix together.

  3. Form mixture into 4 really compact patties and set aside.

  4. Heat up some oil in a frying pan on a medium heat and add the burger patties in.

  5. Fry for 5 mins on both sides (be careful not to flip them too early as they may crumble). Once burgers are flipped I put cheese on so they start to melt.

  6. Place bacon rashers on a grill pan lined with foil and put under the grill and flip until cooked to your choice.

  7. Cut ciabatta rolls in half and assemble the burgers including any sauces and serve with the chips.
