I have lived in Canterbury for almost 3 years now for University and while I’ve been living here I have been out for a lot of meals. These are a list of my favourite restaurants in Canterbury.
1. Cafe des Amis
This Mexican restaurant is situated near the West Gate Towers in the city centre. There’s loads on the menu that I want to try.
2. Cafe du Soleil
This restaurant is the sister restaurant to Cafe des amis and is located just across the street. They serve mediteranean cuisine and the atmosphere in the restaurant is really nice. The food is quite expensive but really delicious.
3. Chapman’s of Canterbury
This is a fish restaurant in town which offer seafood specialities and brasserie favourites. They also have nice cocktails. The food is quite pricey but the portion sizes are good and the food is delicious.
4. Posillipo
This is an Italian restaurant near Canterbury Cathedral. The food is amazing and there’s loads of choice on the menu so there’s a lot to choose from. The atmosphere is so nice and the staff are really friendly. The food is affordable and they also serve nice cocktails.
5. Chapter
This is a pizza restaurant near Canterbury Cathedral. They have a good variety of pizzas on the menu and they also serve bottomless brunch. The prices are so reasonable and the pizzas are really nice.
6. Olive Grove
This restaurant serves Italian food along with mediterrean and moroccan style cuisine. They also serve cocktails. The food was resonably priced and really delicious.
