Posillipo - Canterbury, Kent

megr241

Whilst my parents came to visit me at University in Canterbury over the weekend we went to Posillipo which is one of my favourite restaurants in Canterbury and I've been there many times before. To start, me and my parents shared the frittura di pesce which included deep fried calamari, king prawns, cod and whitebait served with tartare sauce. For mains, I had the risotto alla pescatora with mussels, clams, squid and king prawns in a cherry tomato and garlic sauce with a touch of chilli. My mum had linguine posillipo which is my usual order but I decided to switch up what I ordered this time. It's similar to the risotto I had and had clams, mussels and king prawns in a white wine, garlic and cherry tomato sauce with a touch of chilli. To drink, I had a strawberry daiquiri which is the first time I’ve ever tried one of those and I really liked it. The food is so delicious, the setting is so nice and the staff are really friendly. I definitely recommend to anyone in Canterbury or visiting!!
